Description

This beautiful Chinese cabinet shows a simple, tapered style that gives it a perfect sense of balance and stability – a design common in Chinese furniture but not normally seen in the West. Wooden peg hinges at the top and bottom of each door fit directly into the cabinet’s frame, making metal hinges unnecessary and resulting in a wonderfully pure, clean appearance. The cabinet includes two drawers – each with a lovely ‘butterfly’ drawer pull – and inside holds three removable shelves and a removable hanging rail. This makes it ideal for use as either a cabinet or wardrobe. Part of our Classical Chinese furniture range, handcrafted from reclaimed elm wood and available in a choice of warm elm or black lacquer.
