(The item offered for sale is a cooker surround 1700mm W x 1100mm H x 350mm D kitchen wall unit in the bare wood ready for painting. Designed to fit on top of the worktop and above a 900mm Range cooker to house an integrated extractor no more than 275mm deep ( available from Caple and other manufacturers). A 1900mm version is available for 1000/1100mm Range cookers. This unit is supplied in three pieces; a 300mmleft hand cupboard with 1 door, a right hand cupboard with 1 door and a shelf with panel and 2 brackets. A sheet of 12mm MDF will be required if building to the ceiling ( not included). Please read the instructions prior to installation as the placement of this unit will determine the size of any wall units either side. Premium quality, cabinet grade, pine timber is used throughout the construction process which employs traditional cabinetry methods including dovetailed drawers and mortise and tenon door joints. The front frame is full jointed and secured to the carcass using the tongue and groove method providing an exceptionally strong cabinet. Even the carcass itself is jointed in this way, negating the use of screws or nails. The backboards are solid wood and are also tongued and grooved. Plinths, cornice and pelmets complete the look. This base unit comes with 40mm void at the back to accommodate pipes wires etc. and enables the units to be easily scribed to your walls. The kitchen doors are available in two styles, either “Traditional” or “Shaker” .
