Made from a sturdy wood, the bed uses a slatted base to support any UK standard sized mattress in either single or small double sizes.  The coil sprung memory foam mattress suppliied with this item is manufactured in the UK by Visco Therapy, a member of the UK National Bed Federation (NBF).
