Homescapes is proud to introduce the latest addition to its range of high quality handcrafted solid wood furniture. The Kilim range represents the style, warmth and vibrant colours of the Orient. This stunning furniture range was originally inspired by traditional Kilim rugs which are commonly used in oriental countries such as Turkey, India and Egypt. These rugs are made of sturdy wool or jute and feature beautiful hand woven patterns and geometrical symbols. Traditionally, they are used as prayer rugs but can also serve as tapestry or decorative rugs.

Homescapes captured vibrant natural colours and organic shapes in this new range of hard-wearing upholstered footstools, benches, ottomans and storage boxes. However, Homescapes has not only designed classic Kilim rug furniture but also offers a selection of contemporary designs such as Union Jack and USA Flag. Each piece is handcrafted using 100% solid Acacia wood with a dark shade finish and upholstered with high quality traditional Kilim rugs, which are fitted using durable brass pins.
